Ratings in Details

Package & Design:

It’s a simple solar panel with not personality. Just a rectangular charger.

Price:

Nearly 150 Dolllar for me is too high in respect to the panel’s performances

Installation:

  • Press the sun-shaped button. The LED will light up when the panel receives sufficient daylight to produce power.
  • Position the solar panel where you would like it to be permanently installed. Angle the panel in such a way that it will be perpendicular to the strong midday sun (straight up in most cases), between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • Insert the center legs at the bottom of each aluminum frame.
  • Insert each mounting screw and tighten carefully. Do not over-tighten. First, connect the GREY plug of the 10-foot extension cable to the connector of the solar panel. Then connect the charge controller (not included) to your battery.
  • Connect the cable of your choice to the battery. Finally, connect the other end of this cable with the BLACK plug of the extension cable.

Performances:

Naturally it does not replace what an electric battery charger can do and in the same amount of time, but as a trickle charger for car and boat batteries this is all you need (other than some sunshine).

Dimensions:

It is 39.4-by-13.8-by-1.2 inches in size and weighs 9.5 pounds

Usability:

Its “Plug-n-Play” feature allows connection of multiple panels in seconds without tools or rewiring. The solar panel comes with 1 multi-purpose adapter set, which includes a cigarette lighter adapter, a female cigarette lighter adapter, a battery clamp, a terminal ring connector, and a wire connector.

Accessories: This solar panel requires a charge controller (sold separately). Suggested: The Sunsei SE-CC10000 10 Amp Solar Charge Controller

I am looking for a devise that can be used to power a water conditioner, the valve is electronic with low energy. Am looking to replace house power, in difficult installations
